Set up your restaurant on OmniDine in an afternoon

From sign-up to your first online booking: the six things to do, in order, and what each one unlocks.

When you create a venue, OmniDine shows a getting-started checklist on the Bookings page. This guide follows the same order, with a bit more on why each step matters.

  1. 1

    Create your account and venue

Sign up free with no card. Add your restaurant's name and choose its URL slug, which becomes your booking page address.

  2. 2

    Draw your floor plan

Add rooms and tables with their shapes and seat counts, plus walls, doors and pillars. Set which tables can join for larger parties and the minimum and maximum party size per table. This plan drives online availability, so it's worth getting right.

  3. 3

Set opening times and booking rules

Add lunch and dinner services, dining durations by party size, reset time between bookings, how close to service guests can book and how far ahead. Add one-off changes for bank holidays.

  4. 4

Add your address and contact email

These appear on confirmations and the booking page, so guests can find you and reply.

  5. 5

Connect Stripe for deposits and card guarantees

Deposits go straight into your own Stripe account. Choose a fixed or per-person deposit for busy dates and large parties, or a saved card for everyday bookings.

  6. 6

    Choose your widget style

In Settings, pick a standard card, horizontal bar or sidebar. Adjust the accent, background, font, corners, logo and button text in the live preview, then save and copy the embed script.

  7. 7

    Share your booking page

Copy the link into your website, Instagram bio and Google Business Profile, paste the embed code onto your site, and download the QR code for table cards and receipts.

If you're on the till plan

  1. 1

    Build your menu

Create categories, set prices and VAT rates, add options like "Large +1.50", and say whether each item is made in the kitchen or at the bar.

  2. 2

    Invite your team

Invite staff by email with the right role. Invitations expire, and staff reset their own passwords.

  3. 3

Put a tablet on the pass

Sign in with a Kitchen login and open the kitchen screen in full-screen mode.

Reservations is free for one venue, with no card needed. Add the till for £10 a month when you're ready.
